We are growing by leaps and bounds!

Hi, All! I am getting back on track with my writing as I start to feel better from my heart procedure. As you all know, I recently wrote 3 articles for Illumination about Medium’s Terms of Service (TOS). I still don’t feel comfortable with their lack of responsiveness in changing the offending language. I think we are still where we left off: playing games with legalese instead writing and editing to our concerns in clear, unambiguous terms. However, I will keep plugging away as I figure out a way to keep using Medium to our advantage without giving them too much.

After all, I won’t be one of those writers they offer written agreements and NDA’s to keep writing.

In the meantime, I am fast coming up to September, where I plan to start recording my first episodes of my Podcast. I have been researching equipment, topics, and titles.

One thing several current podcasters told me was, “Don’t overthink it. It is so simple to get started, you don’t need much. Just plug in and do it!” However, I don’t want the first ones to sound like two wolverines fighting in a bag. I want to get my theme music right, and my opening song right. So, it’s taking some time.

So, that’s going to be the motto of my new Podcast: “Just plug in and do it!” Hey! Maybe that will be the name, too.

The first couple of episodes will be me, reading some of my articles, picking out current events and trying to make funny with them. I might sing a few songs, and maybe break down and cry a little. So, be prepared to tune in and be amazed, entertained, and disgusted!

After I figure it out using the first couple of episodes to satisfy my ego, I’ll be recruiting writers to “interview.” Yes, interview is in quotes. Why? Because I am sure it will be a hot mess. Therefore, my first guest, who has begged me to interview her (she even sent me some nude pictures of Selma Hyak as a bribe), will be the Non-Hot Mess Queen herself, Kristi Keller! Get ready, Kristi!
